Cancelled- MLK Day Cleanup at Driftwood Beach

Sorry folks, we are cancelling this cleanup because of rain and hazardous conditions.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a wonderful time to volunteer for the benefit of the community and the environment. In honor of this day of service, Clean River Alliance is hosting a special cleanup of Driftwood Beach, just north of Jenner. Winter tides and currents typically deposit a lot of trash on this stunning beach at the mouth of the Russian River. All ages are welcome but children must be closely supervised. Heavy rain cancels.

Cleanup equipment, gloves, water, and snacks provided.

MEET:

10am sharp or a little before at the Sonoma Coast Visitors Center, 10439 Highway 1, Jenner. Volunteers will sign a waiver and listen to a safety orientation before carpooling to the trailhead. Please note, the access trail is steep and rocky.
